Whether you leave the Plan but remain employed with William Hill, or whether you leave William Hill altogether, you’ll get different options depending on how long you’ve been a member:
If you leave the Plan with LESS than 1 month's membership
You can get a refund of your contributions less tax. If you remain in service, William Hill is legally required to re-enrol you in the Plan at least once every three years.
If you leave the Plan with MORE than 1 month's membership
You'll be entitled to a deferred benefit. This means the contributions you and William Hill have paid into your Pension Pot will stay in the Plan until you either retire or transfer them.
