Capita cyber incident

You may have seen in the news that Capita, who provide us with pension scheme administration services, have recently experienced a cyber-attack. Capita informed us that they have taken steps to isolate and contain the issue.

Nevertheless, Capita have confirmed there is evidence that a limited amount of scheme data was compromised.

Capita have taken steps to mitigate the effect of this breach and prevent any further unauthorised access to personal data. We’ve been working very closely with Capita and we’re doing everything we can to minimise any current or future risk to members. You may wish to read Capita’s statement.

We have issued a letter to all members who are affected providing further information and support. If you have not received a letter by 25 August 2023, you have not been impacted.

We want to reassure you that your pension remains secure and we take the security of your data very seriously.
